HARP Cook-OFF Challenge 2

The Hotels and Restaurants Association in Pampanga (HARP) partnered with the Department of Tourism through Flavors of the Philippines hosted another successful cook off
challenge at SM City Clark, The Event Centre last April 22, 2015. It showcased Spanish Cuisine with the touch of Kapampangan. This is in line with event Madrid Fusion Manila.

HARP Cook-Off Challenge 2 was participated by eight top notch hotels & restaurants in Pampanga with mostly chefs & experienced cooks. Among the participated restaurants are: K' Café, Century Hotel, Tony J’s Italian Restaurant, Lewis Grand Hotel, Bretto’s Prestige Restaurant, Widus Hotel International Leisure Inc., Tugs Resto Bar & Cottage Kitchen.

The judges of this flavorful event were, Chef Vincent Garcia, Chef Lillian Borromeo, Chef  Michael Caffrey, TV Program Host Mr. Hans Lee & DOT Director Ronnie Tiotuico.

In the end, Lewis Grand Hotel bagged P5,500 cash, hotel & restaurant gift certificates, medals, plaque & free membership as 2nd Placer, Widus Hotel & Casino came in second who got P7,500 cash, hotel & restaurant gift certificates, medals, plaque & free registration  as first 1st Placer & the Champion for this year’s HARP Cook-Off Challenge 2 is Century Hotel represented by Chef Bong Sagmit & Jaypee Gomez who bagged P10,000 cash, hotel & restaurant gift certificates, medals, plaque & free registration. K’ Cafe was also awarded by Nestle Philippines as Nestle's Choice Award for using Docello as their entry for the dessert category.

In the end, Lewis Grand Hotel bagged P5, 500 cash, hotel & restaurant gift certificates, medals, plaque and free membership as 2nd Placer, Widus Hotel & Casino came in second who got P7, 500 cash, hotel & restaurant gift certificates, medals, plaque and free registration as 1st placer and the Champion for this year’s HARP Cook-Off Challenge 2 is Century Hotel represented by Chef Bong Sagmit and Jaypee Gomez who bagged P10, 000 cash, hotel & restaurant gift certificates, medals, plaque and free registration.
